Thornton Weekly update week ending 14th July
Mornings are producing best with the anglers that are catching using either a fast sinking line and a booby or a floating line indicator 20ft+ leader with bloodworm and buzzer patterns on the lower 6 – 10ft of the leader.
Anglers out with fish finders reported plenty of trout in the deeper water from the orange buoy to the dam but the majority of the trout are within 2ft of the bottom.
With this weather forecast for this coming week aim to be at the fishery and ready to go out at 8.00am to catch any coolness from the night.
Follow our advice and you will catch, Dave Saunt & Charlie Abrahams caught 7 today on a damsel booby
