Late afternoon into the evening the trout were rising to hatches of buzzer with Mark Hunt finding a single cdc claret pattern was the key to his catch of 14 trout.
Light breeze greeted the anglers on Sunday with the majority of the boats heading to the wood bank lonesome pine and down the Markfield arm were fish could be seen moving. S Swinfield fished a booby and caught 6 trout with Martin Vernon also fishing a booby for his 5 trout. P Hunt and John Thompson went down the Markfield catching 9 for their morning visit but reporting good numbers of fish on the surface feeding.
