Dear angler
Fishing is to continue, Severn Trent sites are to remain open allowing us to continue fishing & enjoy the excellent end of season sport at Draycote & Thornton which remain open to the 30th November
Once again we must thank the Angling Trust team for all their hard work behind the scenes to ensure our voices are heard in government, but also I think reflect the excellent attitude shown by anglers during the year.
Fishing Draycote & Thornton from boat or Bank during November:-
All angler`s, members & day rods must call the lodge to pre book & pre pay for your visit.
Two anglers may share a boat, they must however be from the same household, support bubble or your one regular boat partner.
During November we are not allowed to hold any competitions or group events.
Regretfully therefore we will be cancelling our Draycote Fur & Feather and will be contacting any other group that was planning to hold an event.
The lodges & shops are closed the booking in & out area will be located outside the lodge door with your permit and receipt available for you to pick up outside the lodge.
With shorter daylight hours during November & to ensure staff have adequate time to disinfect boats & lifejackets you will only be able to book boats for the Full Day or Morning session
We can offer a click & collect service for items of fishing tackle you may require
I have updated our guidelines, please read them before you call to book your visit

As anglers we are extremely fortunate to still be fishing during this current lockdown, I would urge you all to act responsibly as we have during the past 5 months. Ensure we all meet the 2m social distancing rule in the car park, outside the lodge, on the bank & while you wait to be called onto the pontoon for your boat, wear face coverings when required & use the hand sanitiser provided.
Thank you for your cooperation
