Fishery Report: Week Ending: 25th October
Anglers are starting to pick up more fish down the arms as the fish start to move from the deeper water into the shallows and around the weed beds with DI3, DI5 and sink 7 lines with boobies, snakes and fry patterns generally working best
John Bebbington and Keith Coley fished the morning session on Monday picking up 10 trout as did S Windram and Phil Cross. Andy Dermot took advantage of the weather and a day off from working at the fisheries to catch 6 for his mornings visit on a minkie booby and pink snake with Carl Bond fishing an olive booby to catch his 4 trout
Tuesday most of the anglers fished the morning session with the forecast for increasing winds arriving in the afternoon and into Wednesday. P Cox caught 4 as did Alan Johnstone with Arthur Olding and Phil Mee catching 3 apiece
Wednesday only two rods ventured out with Dave Pritchard finding a standard black lure worked for him
Better weather on Thursday with all the boats out Richard Price and Ian Schofield boated 6 fish in their boat on minkie booby and white zonker, Pam Shuttelwood caught 3 for her visit as did Mick Huffer.
